For whatever reason many of us do not enjoy taking advice. Perhaps it's because many of us, have been taking advantage of in the past, and now we are annoyed even angry when someone attempts to give us advice. The sad reality is that some advice that is given is good, we're too stubborn to take it.
Now with the virus that is tormenting our world, following instructions is vital. The hardest part is getting others to follow directions and take advice from people who know better. Wisdom has become more essential than ever.

Proverbs 5 as I see it, shows a love for others. Wisdom pleads for her daughters and sons to pay attention to understanding. Use common sense. Proverbs 5 goes into loyalty regarding marriage.
Do not crave the attention from another persons spouse. What may appear sweet at first, and somewhat can start of as innocent, but in the end sorrow from the pain caused will pierce your heart like a double edged sword. Due to carelessness and a disregard for the feelings of others, a zombie like death awaits. There is a pleading for doing the right thing in the eyes of wisdom. Stay away from the house of corruption. If you are able to avoid temptation the reward of wealth will be immeasurable. Most people think of worldly wealth. I think about wealth in that sense as well, but also beyond that point. Your health, your peace of mind. Having a clean conscious is priceless.

Being wise in Proverbs also points at the need to enjoy what you work for so that your hard work and gain does not go to someone who is lazy and reaps the benefits of your hard work. Have self-control.

You want to live a long healthy life. In life we have teachers that give us good advice, yet we go off on our own path paved in destruction and almost destroy our precious life. We humiliate ourselves in front of others.

Being faithful to your spouse builds a relationship of clean flowing water. What sane person would drink from a polluted stream? Be satisfied with your spouse. A union belongs to you, don't share that with anyone else. Where is the fulfillment in something so precious that is carelessly shared with others? Be happy with your spouse. True love will make you happy. True love is graceful, captivating and satisfying.

Don't thirst for affection through adultery. There is no loyalty in the arms of another spouse. Wisdom built through a higher power designed in more knowledge than we ever know. Sees everything that is done in secret. disloyal measures will tie you up in your dark nature of sin. Craziness is nothing to be proud of.
