Moses and his brother Aaron dealt with the task of rescuing
the Israelites through God's guidance. God heard their prayer . Bringing them out of bondage into a land of Milk and Honey,
was a task that tested a nation that was breaking free from the only thing they knew which was slavery.
It is in Exodus in which the 10 Commandments came to be. As the Israelites struggled with obedience concerning doing the right thing.Still in society today, we all struggle with moral character in which only God, can judge us.
The movie 10 Commandments is a classic that outlines the history of Moses. Perhaps this movie is still one of the best documentary of Moses's journey. I do believe that God may have chosen Moses due to his patience and humility. However to some degree Moses's lack of confidence was a hinderance as well. Some believe that by the end of Moses's journey God became disappointed in Moses's leadership, which costed Moses the privilege of entering the promise land. However, I see things differently. I believe that Moses enjoyed a life of retirement and peace after dealing with a large amount of selfish and disobedient people. An isolated place may have seen like paradise to Mosses. It is also said that Mosses' body was never recovered. Perhaps if his body was to be discovered would people make of it a shrine? Misunderstanding that Mosses was used as a vessel for God's purpose and not mans.
