Lavender Lashay has been writing ever since I could recall. Of course from a mother's standpoint I'm proud to see my daughter follow the beat to her own drum, with the interest that unites us as a flourishing mother and daughter team. A mother couldn't wish for anything greater to share a passion together as great as the expression of writing. The art of writing can take you around the world. The freedom to explore, create, investigate, and live through the stroke of a keyboard or pen is a gift, and I am honored to share this journey with my daughter.
Lavender's passion for writing will be leading her to one of the most anticipated events in New York this year. This event will introduce admired influences in mainstream television on screen and off.
